Karen Chen is a freelance producer based in Los Angeles.

Made in Taiwan, she grew up chasing the American dream. Her family had grand plans of her becoming a lawyer, doctor, or any other Asian grandmother approved profession. 

​

Somehow, she ended up making commercials. She was only very briefly disowned.

​

With over 20 years of experience, Karen realizes that producing is all that she knows how to do. She has had the good fortune of working with mostly wonderful directors and a few more complicated ones. The adventures in making commercials has taken her all across the United States and all over the world, creating a vast network of resources and friends for life.
